This is a bit late this year – super busy preparing reviews etc, but better late than never right! And you know, the 2024 season hasn’t technically started yet, so it’s still a preview.
The following is a big picture overview of 2024 snowboard gear. It’s not intended to be overly detailed, as you can check out our brand overviews to get all the details on:
- New snowboards, bindings, boots
- Retiring gear
- Any significant changes to returning models.

So far the trend looks to be more new boards coming in than old ones going out. This is a reversal of the last few years (mostly covid related), where lines tended to be shrinking rather than growing. But now they look to be growing a little.
Let’s take a quick look at some of the gear that’s retiring and what’s fresh for 2024.
Out With the Old
This isn’t everything of course, and as I go through more overviews I’ll add more here. But this is a snapshot of some of the 2023 models that aren’t returning with a 2024 model.
Some surprise omissions as there always seems to be. Often outed snowboard gear is replaced by very similar models but that’s not always the case.

Snowboarding Profiles Reviews
As always reviews for any gear that was tested by Snowboarding Profiles will be released throughout the year. A good number have been published already. More will come out every week.

Thanks for your message. We didn’t test the Renegade last winter, so there won’t be one coming out this year. We will try to get on it this winter, but the earliest that would be would be February.
