The following is a quick overview of the 2024 Jones snowboards lineup.
First I will take a look at any new boards for the 2023-24 season, and any 2022-23 boards that aren't returning with a 2024 model.
Then I'll place each board into the categories where I see them fitting best and finally take a look at any changes for returning boards.

New 2024 Jones Snowboards
The new boards for 2023-24 are:
+ Hovercraft 2.0 - Updated version of the Hovercraft (as the name would suggest). It takes over from both the Hovercraft and Women's Hovercraft. Vs hovercraft of old:
1. New shape. You can visually see the different shape, particularly in the swallow tail.
2. new reclaimed core
3. new size 144 (which helps to make it unisex) all other sizes are same as before
4. Waist width wider (e.g. 25.5cm on new 148, was 24.9cm on old 148)
5. says stance setback of 0cm and old had stance setback of 3cm in catalog, but the reference stance width and centered stance width are the same as the 2023 model, so that's confusing
6. Contact length a little longer on new model (e.g. on 148 is 94.1cm vs 93.6cm on old model)
7. Effective edge also slightly longer (e.g. 116.1cm on new 148, was 115.6cm on old.
8. Longer sidcut (e.g. 8.4m on new 148, was 7.9m on old 148)
9. Tip length and tail length changes (e.g. new 148 has 39.2cm tip and 14.7cm tail, was 38.9cm and 15.5cm on the old 148)
10. Tip and tail width changes (e.g. new 148 is 30.2cm tip width and 28.5cm tail width, was 29.6cm and 28.4cm on old 148
11. More taper - 17mm of taper now, where it wes 11.5mm of taper on the old model.
12. Now made from recycled boards.
So lots of changes!
+ Freecarver 6000s - New made for carving series. Mid-stiff (7/10 flex). 9mm taper. Has 3D contour basee but 2.0, so a more subtle version. Full camber, directional shape, directional flex, short sidecut, long effective edge. Described to blend race, bordercross and freeride.
+ Freecarver 9000s - Same as Freecarver 6000s, but with a stiffer flex (8/10 according to Jones).
+ Hovercraft Split 2.0 - Split version of the new Hovercraft 2.0, as the name would suggest.
+ Ultralight Hovercraft Split - Made from recycled boards. Vs Ultracraft split of old:
1. You can visually see a different shape, particularly in the swallow tail
2. According to their slider graphs they claim its better for deep powder, slow speed slashing and high speed carving
3. New ultralight eco topsheet 4.
+ Women's Stratos Split - Split version of the women's Stratos (naturally)
+ Ultralight Butterfly Split - New Unisex splitboard.

All 2024 Jones Snowboards by Category
Below, I have categorized Jones's 2023-24 lineup. This is according to the categories here at SnowboardingProfiles.com and not necessarily the same as how Jones might label them.
Of course these are only broad categories as every board is different, but this is a rough guide.
-Jones BEGINNER SNOWBOARDS-
As was the case for 2022, and previous years, Jones don’t really do beginner boards, IMO.
-Jones PARK/FREESTYLE SNOWBOARDS-
There aren’t any boards in the Jones lineup that strictly fit this category, IMO. Although you could certainly argue a case for the Tweaker to belong here. But I think it's better suited to the All-Mountain Freestyle category.
-Jones ALL-MOUNTAIN-FREESTYLE SNOWBOARDS-
Men's
- Tweaker - SEE FULL REVIEW | Top 10 All-Mtn-Freestyle Board
-Jones AGGRESSIVE ALL-MTN-FREESTYLE SNOWBOARDS-
You could argue that the Ultra Mountain Twin fits here, but, IMO, it fits best in the aggressive all-mountain category. Otherwise there aren't any other Jones boards that might fit this category, IMO.

Summary
So there you have the 2024 Jones snowboards.
Out with the Old
There are several boards retiring, but almost all of them have direct replacements, so are more updates than true retirees. The Ultracraft does not get a replacement though, making it the only full retiree.
And In with the New
As mentioned above, most of the new boards coming in are essentially updates from older models. More than name changes though, as there are quite a few differences.
Of those that are purely new, there is a new freecarver series - with 2 models: The Freecarver 6000s and the Freecarver 9000s.
The Women's Stratos Split and the Ultralight Butterfly Split are also entirely new boards.
Changes to Existing Models
Tweaker: New sizes 149, 160W & 162.
Mountain Twin: New size 153W.
Mind Exapnder Twin: New size 146.
Aviator 2.0: New size 157W.
Airheart 2.0: New sizes 143 and 155
Ultralight Project X: New "ultralight eco topsheet" and name now includes "ultralight" in it.
Flagship: New size 156W.
Stratos: New size 158W.
Storm Wolf: New size 150.
Mind Expander Split: New size 150.
Stratos Split: New size 158W.
Prodigy: New size 100.
So not a heap of changes to existing boards, apart from some new sizes and graphics changes. Some good new sizes coming in though. Good to see new wider sizes in shorter lengths for the Mountain Twin and Flagship. And some smaller sizes in several boards, making them more accessible to a wider variety of riders.
Some boards are keeping their 2023 graphics, so are full carryovers from 2023. These include the Mind Expander Twin, Mind Expander, Women's Mind Expander, Ultra Mind Expander, Airheart 2.0, Flagship, Women's Flagship, Storm Wolf and the Storm Chaser.

Afternoon sir, merry Christmas. I own the gnu hyper was looking to get a surfy directional, I had come across the storm chaser really liked the outline and concept to compliment the gnu hyper. Wanted your take on it and what you thought? Thank you, looking forward to a completely different ride but still fun not a huge park guy or switch person more carving groomers and trying to slash some turns and small hits
Hi Miles, thanks for your message. The Storm Chaser is a little stiffer and more precise than the Hyper, in my experience. It’s still nothing that’s super stiff or anything, but better for carving than the Hyper IMO, but not as playful feeling. But I think it would be a really good compliment to the Hyper, as you can go for a shorter size, it’s way more directional and has more of a stable feel – so there is quite a contrast between them.
Hope this helps and Merry Christmas to you too.
