Nidecker made some fairly significant moves for its 2027 snowboard, binding and boot lineup, even though the overall snowboard count stayed the same.
The biggest developments on the board side are the skate-inspired Tape Deck, the new Odyssey men's and women's freeride shapes (kind of a returner but returning quite different - more on that below) and the powerful Blade Pro. There is also a limited Nidecker x SOREL collaboration that brings together the SOREL Surfer snowboard and Caribou Snow-G boot.
Nidecker has also expanded its Orbital Cushioning technology well beyond the Megalight, while the regular Sensor family receives new shapes, full camber profiles and revised sizing.
The binding lineup shrinks from 19 models to 17 and Nidecker has effectively rebuilt its traditional two-strap range around the new Orbit Pro, Orbit, Combo and Pop. The Carbon and LT Supermatic also get a redesigned Auto S baseplate.
Nidecker's boot lineup is smaller too, dropping from 18 models to 15. The new Index APX takes over at the top, while several returning boots receive the latest BOA H5 hardware, revised liners, footbeds and outsoles.

- Blade Plus - replaced by the Blade Pro
- Blade
- Sensor Team
- Thruster
- Mellow
The Blade Pro is listed as a new model in Nidecker's catalog, but it is best viewed as the heavily upgraded successor to the Blade Plus rather than an entirely separate addition.
The SOREL Surfer is a limited collaboration and does not appear in the main dealer-catalog lineup chart. Including it, Nidecker still offers 33 snowboard models for 2027 - the same number as it did for 2026.
The Tape Deck takes over much of the mid-stiff, full-camber freestyle territory occupied by the Sensor Team, although it has a wider, more old-school outline and a stronger skate influence.
The Odyssey is the closest replacement for the Mellow. Both are directional, surf-influenced boards intended to find creative lines around the mountain, but the Odyssey is more resort-focused and comes in separate men's and women's ranges.
More details on the new additions further down the page.
Retirees
The Blade Pro directly succeeds the Blade Plus. However, the regular Blade disappears without a softer carving model taking its place.
The Thruster also lacks a direct replacement. The Escape Plus remains as Nidecker's conventional, powerful all-mountain board.

The binding changes are less about abandoning categories and more about simplifying them.
The Orbit Pro succeeds the Kaon Pro as the stiff, precision-focused freestyle binding. The regular Orbit broadly replaces the Kaon, while introducing a new aluminum-and-nylon modular chassis and more adjustment.
The soft-flexing Combo consolidates much of the territory previously covered by the Muon and Prime. The new Pop becomes Nidecker's smallest and simplest kids' binding, taking over from the XS version of the Magic, while the Ollie continues to cover larger youth sizes.
The Flow NX2 Carbon remains available with its Fusion strap, but the separate Hybrid version has been removed.

- Index
- Kita APX
- Kita Hybrid
- Women's Kita Hybrid
The new Index APX becomes Nidecker's stiffest and most technically advanced boot. Meanwhile, the regular men's and women's Kita inherit enough technology from the outgoing Kita APX that a separate APX version is no longer necessary.
Removing the two Kita Hybrid models also makes the boot line simpler but less diverse. Nidecker still offers men's and women's Kita boots, but no longer provides the traditional-lace-and-BOA Hybrid option. It's a lacing system I'm personally a fan of, so not something I like to see exit, but they must have their reasons for retiring them.
Nidecker Snowboards 2027 Full Lineup By Category
The categories I place Nidecker's 2027 lineup in below is according to how we at SnowboardingProfiles.com categorize and not how Nidecker themselves categorize them.
We have a neutral stance and are completely independent of any snowboard brand. So, our categories have nothing to do with marketing the boards. They are based purely on what we think the best use of each board is.
We have included beginner categories below as well, but note that all gear in the beginner category will also be included in one of the other categories (the category that the gear is most relevant for, according to our categorization).

Details of New Models
Nidecker bring in 5 new boards, 4 new bindings and 1 new pair of boots for their 2026/2027 lineup. Some details for their new models below.
Nidecker Blade Pro
Shape: Directional
Profile: Camber
Flex: Pro-Stiff
Core: Power Core
Base: N-12000 Graphite
Sizes: 158, 160W and 162W
The Blade Pro is Nidecker's new flagship carving board and a substantial upgrade over the outgoing Blade Plus.
It retains the Blade family's long effective edge, directional shape and full camber, but gets a faster N-12000 Graphite base, a new Power Core and forged Carbon Cell sections beneath the feet. Titanium Boosters are intended to transfer power to the edges with as little delay as possible.
The flex also moves from stiff to what Nidecker now calls pro-stiff. A new 160W joins the returning 158 and 162W sizes.

This looks like a more powerful and technically advanced version of the Blade Plus rather than a completely different carving concept. It should be very fast and precise, but also demanding and clearly intended for experienced riders.
Nidecker Tape Deck
Shape: True Twin
Profile: Camber
Flex: Stiff (the detailed specification box also describes it as mid-stiff)
Core: Light Core
Base: N-7000 Hybrid
Sizes: 147, 150, 153, 156, 156W, 159 and 159W
The Tape Deck is a full-camber freestyle board inspired by the rounded twins and steep kicks of the 1990s.
Nidecker has given it a relatively wide waist and steep nose and tail kick. The idea is to make it more stable, reduce toe and heel overhang and help it press, butter, spin and lock into banks and wall rides.
It still has a fairly serious construction. The mid-stiff flex, Light Core, Pop Carbon stringers and Biax Plus fiberglass should provide plenty of pop and stability, while the N-7000 Hybrid base is a step above the extruded bases found on Nidecker's softer progression boards.

Each size also gets its own graphic, giving the Tape Deck a more individual feel than most boards in the lineup.
Nidecker Odyssey and Women's Odyssey
Shape: Directional
Profile: Surfy CamRock
Flex: Mid-Stiff
Core: Light Core
Base: N-9000 Sintered
Men's sizes: 152, 155, 157, 159 and 162
Women's sizes: 142, 147, 152 and 155
Note that there was an Odyssey (which was essentially a women's version of the Mellow) around a few years back, that had it's last appearance for the 23/24 season - while the new Odyssey is significantly different to the '24 Odyssey, it still fills a very similar role in the lineup.
The Odyssey is a directional board that has Nidecker's Surfy CamRock profile, a long nose, substantial 50 mm setback and an N-9000 base. Pop Carbon and Titanium Boosters add response, while Orbital Cushioning is built into the insert zones to reduce vibration and soften impacts.
Nidecker describes it as a board for creative lines both inside and outside the resort.

Its directional outline and setback should provide good float, but it is not presented as a powder-only shape.
The men's and women's models use the same construction and general design, with the 152 and 155 appearing in both ranges.
Nidecker x Sorel Surfer
Shape: Directional
Profile: Surfy CamRock
Flex: Mid-Soft
Sizes: 150, 155 and 160
The SOREL Surfer is a limited collaboration inspired by the role SOREL's Caribou winter boot played during snowboarding's early years.
Shaped by Thierry Kunz, it combines a retro directional outline with Nidecker's Surfy CamRock profile and a lightweight poplar-and-paulownia core. It should provide a looser and more forgiving ride than the Odyssey, with an emphasis on float, natural terrain and smooth surf-style turns.
The lone caribou on the topsheet references the matching Caribou Snow-G snowboard boot developed as part of the same project.
Nidecker Orbit Pro
Flex: Stiff
Entry: Traditional Two-Strap
Baseplate: Alu/Nylon+ Module
Highback: Nylon+ InfinityBack Pro
Sizes: M, L and XL
The Orbit Pro is Nidecker's new top-end traditional two-strap binding.
Its hybrid aluminum-and-nylon chassis includes an adjustable heelcup and is paired with a stiff, highly adjustable InfinityBack Pro highback. It also gets Nidecker's lightweight Exo-Frame Pro ankle strap, Hexo Toecap 2.0, aluminum ratchets and Gecko Grip inside the highback.

The Custom BankBeds can be adjusted independently at the toe and heel, allowing more precise boot centering and stance alignment than Nidecker's one-piece footbeds.
It occupies the same stiff position as the outgoing Kaon Pro but introduces an entirely different chassis and significantly more adjustability.
Nidecker Orbit
Flex: Mid-Stiff
Entry: Traditional Two-Strap
Baseplate: Alu/Nylon+ Module
Highback: Nylon InfinityBack
Sizes: M, L and XL
The regular Orbit uses the same modular aluminum-and-nylon chassis as the Pro but softens the overall ride.
It gets a less aggressive InfinityBack, Uni-Frame ankle strap and new Toe Capsule. It still provides the adjustable heelcup, independently adjustable footbed sections, aluminum ratchets and Gecko Grip found on the Pro.

The result should be a more versatile alternative for riders who want the precision and adjustability of Nidecker's new chassis without the Orbit Pro's stiffness.
Nidecker Combo
Flex: Soft
Entry: Traditional Two-Strap
Baseplate: Nylon+ Axis Unibase
Highback: Nylon Electron
Sizes: S, M, L and XL
The Combo becomes Nidecker's main soft-flexing adult two-strap binding.
It combines the familiar Axis Unibase with a lightweight Uni-Frame ankle strap, Toe Capsule and Proton ratchets. It is intended to be comfortable, forgiving and affordable.
The Combo effectively consolidates the outgoing Muon and Prime into one simpler model.

Nidecker Pop
Flex: Soft
Entry: Single Strap
Baseplate: PC Kids Base
Size: XS
The Pop is Nidecker's smallest binding and is designed to pair with the Scamp snowboard.
It uses an integrated mounting system rather than a conventional separate disk, along with a one-piece highback and single strap. The simple layout keeps weight down and makes it easier for very small riders to get in and out.
The Ollie remains available in S and M sizes for older children, while the Pop takes over the smallest XS position previously covered by the Magic.

Nidecker Index APX
Flex: Pro-Stiff
Closure: Dual BOA
Liner: Gold
Outsole: Vibram Approach 2.0
The Index APX replaces the outgoing Index at the very top of Nidecker's boot range.
Its most visible feature is a full-length Storm Cover inspired by mountaineering boots. Underneath, it uses the latest BOA H5 hardware, an internal heel-lock system, updated heat-moldable Gold liner and Nidecker's 3D Summit footbed.

The Vibram Approach 2.0 outsole is designed to provide more serious traction while still working smoothly with fast-entry bindings, including Supermatic.
It is a highly specialized, very stiff boot for riders who prioritize support, response, weather protection and hiking grip.
Changes to Returning Models
Orbital Cushioning Expands Through the Lineup
Nidecker introduced Orbital Cushioning on the Megalight for 2026. For 2027, the underfoot damping system expands to several more boards.
The returning models that now receive Orbital Cushioning are:
- Sensor Mons
- Sensor Pro
- Mosquito
- Smoke
- Gun
The new Odyssey and Women's Odyssey also use it.
Orbital Cushioning places shock-absorbing TPU material around the insert zones. It is intended to reduce vibration and impact without using a full stiffening layer that would substantially change the board's flex.
Sensor, Women's Sensor and Sensor Youth
The regular Sensor family seems to receive more than the "new graphic" label shown in the catalog suggests. Nidecker's range summary marks all three as having new shapes, and the specifications confirm several changes.
Most importantly, the profile changes from CamRock to full camber across the men's, women's and youth versions. That should create a more locked-in feel, stronger edge hold and more direct pop than the outgoing boards.
Nidecker also makes the adult Sensors wider.
The men's 147, 150, 153 and 156 increase by four to six millimetres at the waist. The men's range now begins at 147 rather than 139 and adds a new 162W at the top.
The Women's Sensor retains its 139 to 153 size range, but the 147, 150 and 153 become four to five millimetres wider.
The Sensor Youth shifts from 139, 143 and 147 sizes to 135, 139 and 143. This creates a cleaner progression from the youth board into the women's and men's ranges.
Sensor Pro Youth
The Sensor Pro Youth adds a new 124 size and receives a substantial construction upgrade.
The Master Core becomes the lighter Light Core, the N-7000 base is replaced by the faster N-9000 Sintered base and Pop Carbon becomes Pop Carbon Plus.
Those changes bring its construction much closer to the adult Sensor Pro rather than simply offering a smaller board with downgraded materials.
Sensor Mons and Sensor Pro
Both models add Orbital Cushioning while retaining the same basic shapes, profiles, cores, bases and size ranges.
The Sensor Mons is now described as pro-stiff rather than ultra-stiff. This appears to be part of Nidecker's revised flex terminology rather than evidence of an actual difference in flex.
Play and Elle
Both entry-level boards are now listed with CamRock profiles, replacing the FlatRock profiles used for 2026.
The construction, sizes and materials otherwise remain the same. Interestingly, the sales copy on the 2027 catalog page still refers to FlatRock, but both the individual specification blocks and the full range chart identify the new profile as CamRock.
Assuming the specifications are correct, the addition of camber between the feet should give the Play and Elle a little more edge control and pop while retaining rocker toward the nose and tail for forgiveness.
Venus
The regular Venus receives an N-7000 Hybrid base in place of the 2026 model's N-5000 base.
Everything else, including the shape, CamRock profile, core, fiberglass, carbon and size range, appears unchanged.
Other Returning Boards
The Escape Plus, Escape, Venus Plus, Merc, Astral, Alpha, Alpha APX, Beta, Beta APX, Gamma, Gamma APX and Cheat Code appear to return without meaningful construction or shape changes.
Changes to Returning Nidecker Bindings
Carbon Supermatic
The Carbon Supermatic receives Nidecker's redesigned Nylon+ Auto S baseplate in place of the Carbon Auto used for 2026.
The new chassis has rockered corners to allow a more natural board flex and is described as both stronger and more durable.
It also gets an updated Exo-Kush Pro S Hybrid ankle strap and Hexo Toecap 2.0. Nidecker now describes its flex as pro-stiff rather than ultra-stiff.
LT Supermatic
The LT Supermatic also moves to the new Nylon+ Auto S baseplate, replacing the original Nylon+ Auto chassis.
Flow Nexus
The Flow Nexus replaces its Comfort-Fit Fusion strap with the new injected-TPU Uni-Frame Fusion strap.
It also receives LSR 2.0 Auto-Lock ratchets rather than the simpler LSR buckles used for 2026.
Other Returning Bindings
The OG Supermatic, Flow NX2 Carbon, Flow NX2, Flow NX2 Hybrid, Flow Fuse, Flow Fuse Hybrid, Flow Fenix, Flow Micron, Kaon Plus and Ollie return without major construction changes.
Several get new colorways, while many existing colors also carry over.
Changes to Returning Nidecker Boots
Kita and Women's Kita
The regular Kita models receive some of the biggest returning-boot changes.
Their standard Dual BOA closure becomes the Dual BOA WrapStrap system previously reserved for the Kita APX. They also move from H4 to the latest bidirectional H5 hardware, receive an updated Gold liner and add the Vibram Approach 2.0 outsole and 3D Summit footbed.
With those upgrades in place, the separate Kita APX is no longer needed.
Rift Pro and Women's Rift Pro
The Rift Pro models also get the H5 BOA hardware.
Their OrthoLite X35 insoles are also replaced by Nidecker's 3D Pro footbeds.
Rift and Women's Rift
The regular Rift receives the new H5 Coiler for the main closure, an upgraded Ascent 2.0 outsole and a 3D Pro footbed.
Altai and Women's Altai
Both Altai models receive the H5 Coiler and new 3D Pro footbeds.
Micron and Micron Mini
The youth Micron retains its M4 BOA dial, Silver liner and Gravity outsole, but its insole is now called the 3D Core rather than 3D Single Density. The Micron Mini gets an updated Velcro closure intended to be easier for small hands to use.
Summary of Nidecker 2027 Snowboards Lineup Changes
Nidecker's 2027 lineup isn't drastically different from its 2026 lineup, but it has made some notable changes, brought in several new models and retired a number of models too.
The Tape Deck gives the freestyle line a distinctive new identity while filling much of the gap left by the Sensor Team. The Odyssey creates a broader men's and women's directional range, and the Blade Pro pushes Nidecker's carving construction to a considerably higher level.
The expansion of Orbital Cushioning is arguably the most widespread technical development. It now reaches some of the high-end freestyle-oriented boards and the entire Snow.Surf family, rather than remaining exclusive to the Megalight and new Odyssey models.
Binding Lineup
On the binding side, Nidecker has simplified its two-strap collection around four new models. The Orbit Pro and Orbit introduce a more adjustable modular chassis, while the Combo and Pop make the lower end of the range easier to understand.
The Supermatic platform continues to evolve. The new Auto S baseplate is intended to improve strength and board flex.
Boot Line up
The boot lineup becomes smaller but more technically consistent. The Index APX takes over as the flagship, the regular Kita absorbs much of the outgoing Kita APX's technology, and the newest BOA H5 hardware spreads across most of the performance range.
