Bataleon made some pretty major moves for its 2027 snowboard and binding lineup.
The total snowboard count actually dropped slightly, from 28 to 27, but that number doesn’t tell the whole story. Bataleon introduced eight new snowboard models and retired nine, while also making meaningful changes to five returning boards.
The biggest story is probably the new Stereo family. It introduces a new 3D shape, tri-radial sidecut, SideKick 2.0 and Bataleon’s new HyCap construction. But arguably the most unexpected addition is the Placebo—a traditionally shaped, two-dimensional snowboard from a brand that has built its identity around their 3BT bases.
Bataleon also expanded its women’s snowboard range, added women-specific FASE bindings and introduced the new, more accessible Ghost FASE platform. Bataleon describes this as its biggest progression in years, highlighting the new Stereo and Tornado shapes, the 2D Placebo and the new MonoFrame Ghost FASE bindings.

While nine models disappearing sounds dramatic, a few of the new boards fill similar positions in the lineup.
The Men’s Mojo looks like the most direct replacement - replacing the outgoing Chaser. It has a similarly mellow, accessible all-mountain personality and uses the same general size range.
The Women’s Disaster takes over much of the role previously occupied by the Distortia, while the Men’s and Women’s Stereo models appear to cover some of the softer freestyle territory vacated by the Blow & Moodboard. They aren’t necessarily exact replacements, but Bataleon hasn’t simply removed those boards without filling at least some of the resulting gaps.
The Stuntwood’s departure is also less significant than it might initially appear. The Evil Teen remains in the same 130, 135, 140 and 140W sizes, leaving Bataleon with a youth freestyle option in that size range.
The Cruiser, Wallie and Surfer Mini don’t appear to have obvious like-for-like replacements.

Bataleon’s binding lineup drops from 14 models to 12, despite the introduction of three new bindings.
The big development is the growth of the FASE range. The existing Blaster FASE models return, but they are now joined by men’s and women’s Ghost FASE bindings and a women-specific Blaster AW FASE.
The Ghost introduces Bataleon’s new one-piece MonoFrame chassis. Bataleon positions it as a more accessible FASE platform that still gets the FASE entry system, AuxTech straps, adjustable toe ramp and a new Ghost highback.
Bataleon Snowboards 2027 Full Lineup By Category
The categories I place Bataleon's 2027 lineup in below is according to how we at SnowboardingProfiles.com categorize and not how Bataleon themselves categorize them.
We have a neutral stance and are completely independent of any snowboard brand. So, our categories have nothing to do with marketing the boards. They are based purely on what we think the best use of each board is.
We have included a beginner category below as well, but note that all boards in the beginner category will also be included in one of the other categories (the category that the board is most relevant for, according to our categorization).

Details of New Models
Bataleon Stereo Family
The Stereo is more than a new snowboard - it’s a new family of freestyle boards built around some genuinely new Bataleon technology.
All three Stereo versions use Bataleon’s new HyCap construction. This combines cap construction through the main contact length with polyurethane sidewalls around the nose and tail. The idea is to create the energy and precision of a cap board (no sidewalls) while retaining more impact resistance where freestyle boards tend to take the most abuse.
Bataleon also developed a new version of its 3BT base contour for the Stereo, pairing it with a tri-radial sidecut and SideKick 2.0. According to Bataleon, the combination is intended to create quicker edge-to-edge response, smoother turn initiation and fewer catches.
Bataleon Stereo Team
Flex: 6/10
Shape: 3D Twin
Camber: Medium
Uplift: Low SideKick 2.0
Glassing: Bi-Ax
Core: Light Core
Base: Ultra Glide S
The Stereo Team is the more powerful and technically advanced board in the new Stereo family.
It combines a medium flex with a lightweight core, carbon stringers, C.S.T. Super Tubes and an Ultra Glide S base. It should offer more stability, response and pop than the regular Stereo while retaining a freestyle-first personality.
Its unusually broad size range - from 141 up to 159W - also makes it accessible to a wide range of riders.

Bataleon Stereo
Flex: 4/10
Shape: 3D Twin
Camber: Medium
Uplift: Low SideKick 2.0
Glassing: Bi-Ax
Core: Core Core
Base: Hyper Glide S
The regular Stereo is the softer and more playful option.
Its flex-four rating, Bi-Ax glassing and Core Core construction should give it a more forgiving feel than the Team version. It still gets carbon stringers, HyCap construction and the new Stereo 3D shape.
On paper, it sits somewhere between the outgoing Blow and Moodboard, while adding newer shaping and construction technology.
Bataleon Women's Stereo
Flex: 4/10
Shape: 3D Twin
Camber: Medium
Uplift: Low SideKick 2.0
Glassing: Bi-Ax
Core: Core Core
Base: Hyper Glide S
The Women’s Stereo uses the same general recipe as the Men’s Stereo but comes in 141, 144, 147 and 150 sizes.
It fills a medium-soft freestyle position that was previously occupied by the Moodboard, but does so with the new HyCap construction and updated Stereo shaping.

Bataleon Women's Disaster
Flex: 2/10
Shape: 3D Twin
Camber: Low
Uplift: Medium
Glassing: Bi-Ax
Core: Core Core
Base: Hyper Glide S
Sizes: 140, 144, 148 and 151
The Women’s Disaster is a women-specific version of Bataleon’s softest jib and park board.
It uses the same basic construction as the Men’s Disaster, including a soft flex, low camber, Bi-Ax glass and medium 3BT uplift. It should be the most forgiving and rail-focused women’s board in the range and is the most obvious successor to the outgoing Distortia.

Bataleon Placebo
Flex: 8/10
Shape: Directional Twin
Camber: Medium
Sidebase Uplift: None
Glassing: Tri-Ax
Core: Light Core
Base: Ultra Glide S
The Placebo is easily the most surprising addition to the 2027 Bataleon lineup.
It is Bataleon’s first proper two-dimensional snowboard. That doesn’t mean it has a flat camber profile—the Placebo still uses medium positive camber from nose to tail. It is “flat” from edge to edge, without the raised sidebases found on Bataleon’s 3BT boards.
The result should be a more immediately locked-in and traditional edge feel than riders normally associate with Bataleon.
The Placebo is also far from an entry-level experiment. It has an 8/10 flex, Tri-Ax glass, carbon stringers, C.S.T. Super Tubes, impact plates and an Ultra Glide S base. That puts it firmly at the aggressive end of the lineup.
Bataleon has effectively taken what it has learned from more than two decades of snowboard design and applied it to a traditional base platform. Whether existing Bataleon riders embrace the lack of 3BT remains to be seen, but it certainly gives riders who have previously avoided the brand’s three-dimensional shaping a reason to take another look.
Bataleon Mojo
Flex: 3/10
Shape: 3D Directional Twin
Camber: Low
Uplift: Medium
Glassing: Bi-Ax
Core: Core Core
Base: Hyper Glide S
Sizes: 149, 151, 154, 157, 159W and 162W
The Men’s Mojo is Bataleon’s new mellow, progression-friendly all-mountain board.
It uses a soft flex, low camber and medium 3BT uplift, without the carbon reinforcements or more aggressive materials found on Bataleon’s higher-end boards. That should make it easy to turn, forgiving of mistakes and suitable for less experienced riders.
Based on its construction, purpose and size range, it appears to be the direct successor to the Chaser.
Bataleon Women's Mojo
Flex: 3/10
Shape: 3D Directional Twin
Camber: Medium
Uplift: Medium
Glassing: Bi-Ax
Core: Core Core
Base: Hyper Glide S
Sizes: 138, 140, 143, 146, 149 and 152
The Women’s Mojo is the women-specific progression model.
It shares the Men’s Mojo’s soft flex, Core Core, Bi-Ax construction and medium 3BT uplift. Interestingly, the catalog lists medium camber for the Women’s Mojo compared with low camber for the men’s version.
Like the Men’s Mojo, it can be purchased as a package with the Fly binding. It joins the Feelbetter as one of the most approachable women’s boards in Bataleon’s range, but offers a more clearly all-mountain-focused alternative.

Bataleon Women's Thunderstorm
Flex: 6/10
Shape: 3D Directional
Camber: Low
Nose Uplift: High
Tail Uplift: Medium
Glassing: Tri-Ax
Core: Ultra Light Core
Base: Ultra Glide S
Sizes: 144, 148 and 152
The Women’s Thunderstorm is a women-specific version of the existing Thunderstorm.
It gets the same directional shape, carbon stringers, D.S.T. Super Tubes, Step Down Rails and high nose uplift as the men’s version. Its combination of directional shaping, low camber and substantial nose uplift should make it equally comfortable riding fast in variable snow or seeking out deeper conditions.
The smaller 144, 148 and 152 sizes were previously incorporated into the general Thunderstorm size range. Separating them into a women-specific model increases Bataleon’s women’s specific snowboard count from six to seven.

Bataleon Ghost FASE
Men’s Ghost FASE
Flex: 5/10
Chassis: MonoFrame
Entry: FASE
Sizes: S, M/L and L/XL
The Men’s Ghost FASE is a medium-flexing fast-entry binding built on Bataleon’s new MonoFrame chassis.
Unlike Bataleon’s AsymWrap, FullWrap and HeelWrap chassis, the MonoFrame uses a single-piece platform designed to provide a consistent flex and a direct connection to the board.
It gets a Ghost highback, FASE ankle ladder, AuxTech toe strap, EVA sub-base padding and adjustable toe ramp and forward lean. The four color options are Black, Black Camo, Bone White and Ocean Gray.

Bataleon Women's Ghost FASE
Flex: 3/10
Chassis: MonoFrame
Entry: FASE
Sizes: XS, S and M
The Women’s Ghost uses the same new MonoFrame and FASE entry system but comes with a softer 3/10 flex.
Its softer flex and women-specific size range should make it a more forgiving option than the existing FASE models. It comes in Black and Gray Pistachio colorways.

Bataleon Women's Blaster AW FASE
Flex: 3/10
Chassis: AsymWrap
Entry: FASE
Sizes: S and M/L
The Women’s Blaster AW FASE combines the softer women-specific flex with Bataleon’s established AsymWrap chassis.
It gets the AutoBack highback, FASE entry system, AuxTech straps, EVA cushioning and a two-degree canted footbed. It is essentially the women-specific counterpart to the Men’s Blaster AW FASE.
The Women’s Blaster and Women’s Ghost are both rated at 3/10, but the chassis should give them different personalities. The Blaster’s aluminum AsymWrap construction should provide more defined response and lateral flexibility, while the Ghost’s MonoFrame should produce a smoother one-piece feel.
Changes to Returning Models
Party Wave
The Party Wave receives one of the more significant construction updates among the returning boards.
- Pop Core replaces Core Core.
- Super Slick X replaces the Hyper Glide S base.
- Sizes and general shaping remain unchanged.
Tornado X Beyond Medals
The Tornado received a substantial redesign and is marked as “new” in Bataleon’s catalog, even though it remains the same named model.
Changes include:
- An all-new shape.
- New tri-radial sidecut.
- SideKick 2.0 in the nose and tail.
- Step Down Rails.
- Flex increased from 7/10 to 8/10.
- A more powder-oriented and less park-oriented terrain rating.
- A rounder-looking tail.
- New 153, 162 and 160W sizes.
- The 151, 154, 158W and 161W sizes have been removed.
- The 156, 159 and 164W sizes remain.
Bataleon says the new Tornado is more aggressive than previous versions but is intended to retain a mixture of power and playfulness.
Disaster+
The Disaster+ returns to a 3/10 flex rating after being listed at 4/10 for 2026.
Its nose and tail uplift are also now listed as medium, compared with low on the 2026 model.
Everything else appears unchanged.
Men’s Disaster
Its flex rating drops from 3/10 to 2/10, returning it to the rating used before the 2026 season. Its nose and tail uplift also move from low to medium.
The 140 and 144 sizes are no longer offered in the men’s model, although the 148 and 151 overlap with the new Women’s Disaster. The Men’s Disaster now runs from 148 to 157, with 153W and 156W wide options.
Other Returning-Model Specification Changes
A few other boards show differences for their 2027 specs, but they seem to be more changes on paper than actual physical redesigns.
Cameleon
The Cameleon’s nose uplift is listed as high for 2027, compared with medium on the 2026 model.
It otherwise appears unchanged.
Surfer
The Surfer is listed with medium camber for 2027, compared with low camber for 2026.
There are no other obvious construction or dimensional changes, so this may be a revised rating rather than a physical profile change.
Turbo
The Turbo is now listed with high camber rather than medium camber.
As with the Surfer, no accompanying construction announcement is given, so this may be a catalog classification change.
Thunderstorm
The smaller sizes have been separated into the new Women’s Thunderstorm, while the larger sizes are now presented as the Men’s Thunderstorm.
The 2027 catalog also lists low camber where the 2026 version was listed as medium. Other construction details appear unchanged.
Push Up+
The Push Up+ is now rated at 5/10 rather than 6/10 and is presented as slightly more park-oriented.
There don’t appear to be any notable construction changes, so this is likely a revised flex and terrain assessment rather than an overhaul.
Whatever
The regular Whatever returns unchanged, but Bataleon is also offering a Petrovsky & Ramone artist edition.
The artist edition uses the same sizes, shape, flex and construction as the regular board, with the changes appearing limited to the graphic.
Changes to Returning Bataleon Bindings
There don’t appear to be meaningful construction changes to Bataleon’s returning bindings. Most retain the same construction and features and - in several cases - the same colorways.
Summary of Bataleon 2027 Snowboards Lineup Changes
This is a much more eventful Bataleon lineup than the overall snowboard count suggests.
Bataleon has removed a large number of older park, women’s and youth models, but the new Stereo family replaces much of that freestyle depth with more modern shaping and construction.
The Placebo is the most unusual move. A stiff, traditionally shaped 2D board would have been difficult to imagine from Bataleon a few years ago, but it makes the lineup accessible to riders who want Bataleon construction without raised sidebases.
The additions of the Women’s Disaster, Women’s Mojo and Women’s Thunderstorm also create a more complete women’s range. The number of women-specific models climbs from six to seven, even though the overall snowboard lineup becomes smaller.
On the binding side, Bataleon is clearly committing to FASE. The new Ghost platform gives it a more accessible MonoFrame alternative, while the Women’s Ghost and Women’s Blaster provide some women’s specific options for Bataleon’s fast-entry range.2026 | 2027 | |
