Snowboarding can be an expensive activity if you’re on a tight budget. But you still want quality gear.
That’s why I created this list of the top 5 cheap women’s all mountain snowboards.
How The Boards Were Chosen
These boards weren’t just chosen because they were cheap – they had to be of a reasonable quality too.
I looked at a number of different boards in the women’s all mountain category and found the following.
No. of all-mountain snowboards looked at: | 26 |
Cheapest Board I Looked at: | $269 |
Average price of all-mountain snowboards: | $449 |
Average Rating Score: | 79.9/100 |
Women’s Cheap All Mountain Board #5
Board: K2 Bright Lite
Price: $359
SnowboardingProfiles.com Rating Score: 77.5/100
Why this board was chosen
Even though it did score a couple of points below the average this board is of a reasonable quality, especially for the price.
At just $359 this board is $90 cheaper than the average women’s all mountain board. So if you’re on a tight budget the Bright Lite will give you decent performance at a really reasonable price.
Women’s Cheap All Mountain Board #4
Board: K2 Spot Lite
Price: $449
SnowboardingProfiles.com Rating Score: 83.1/100
Why this board was chosen
The second K2 board on this list is a little more costly than I’d normally put on a “cheap” list. It’s exactly the average price for a board in this category.
But you get well above average performance. It scores well above the average score.
This board is perfect for those looking for high end quality but at an average price.
Women’s Cheap All Mountain Board #3
Board: Rossignol Gala
Price: $299
SnowboardingProfiles.com Rating Score: 78.1/100
Why this board was chosen
Rossignol have a reputation for producing quality boards at a reasonable price and the Rossi Gala is no exception. And it’s no surprise that this isn’t the only Rossi board on this list.
The Gala is one of the cheapest all-mountain boards you can get and comes in at an enormous $150 cheaper than the average price.
Yet surprisingly it really isn’t all that bad in terms of performance. In fact it’s pretty close to the average score and $150 less than the average price!
Women’s Cheap All Mountain Board #2
Board: Rome Romp
Price: $359
SnowboardingProfiles.com Rating Score: 81.3/100
Why this board was chosen
With a score a good couple of points above the average and a price an impressive $90 cheaper than the average, the Romp is the epitome of value-for-money.
You get a high quality board for a low-end price. Enough Said.
Women’s Cheap All Mountain Board #1
Board: Rossignol Frenemy
Price: $399
SnowboardingProfiles.com Rating Score: 85/100
Why this board was chosen
And the #1 cheap women’s all mountain board is…. The Rossi Frenemy!
It may be the second priciest board on this list but the Frenemy still comes in at $50 cheaper than the average priced board in this category.
And what about its score?
Blows away the competition in that department. It’s way above the average. This is a high-end board for a really reasonable price.
In fact the Frenemy even made my top 6 all-mountain snowboards for women list, which doesn’t take into account cost. In that list the Frenemy is the cheapest board by $70.
Thanks for Reading
I hope this list has helped you to narrow down the right board for you at the right price.
