The following is a quick overview of the 2022 Thirty Two snowboard boots lineup.
First I will cover any new boots for the 2021-22 season, then any old 2020-21 boots that won't be returning with a 2022 model.
Then I'll place each boot into the categories where I see them best fitting.

Below I have organized Thirty Two's 2021-22 collection into categories. This is according to the categories here at SnowboardingProfiles.com and not necessarily the same as how Thirty Two might categorize them.
Of course these are only broad categories as every boot is different and can often be used for more than one of these categories.

Summary
So there you have the 2022 Thirty Two snowboard boots.
Overall Thirty Two have culled their line a little more, with 4 newcomer and 8 models exiting. With 29 models, this is still a healthy line, but a little more manageable than what it was a couple of years back.
2019 was a bit all over the place with the number of models they had. 2020 did a cleanup and 2021 further made more sense. 2022 does some further culling and there aren't any models that don't make sense being there - in some ways they've culled too far, in terms of the women's line, in not having a really stiff boot in there any more.
Out with the Old
The Mullair (which was renamed for 2021 to the 3XD) and Mullair/3XD XLT are gone, but the TM-3XD replaces the former. The XLT version doesn't get a replacement.
The TM-3 and TM-3 Diggers are also gone - but they probably overlapped a little with the TM-3XD - albeit at a cheaper price.
The Zephyr and Zephyr premium are gone too.
The biggest surprise is that the Women's TM-2 XLT and the Women's Jones MTB are gone. I get dropping one of them, but both leaves the line without a truly stiff women's option.
In with the New
The aforementioned TM-3XD is, as discussed, basically a name change. But the other 3 new models are genuinely new.
The TM-2 Jones is a cross between the Jones MTB and the TM-2, giving an easier flexing splitboarding option.
Then there's the Bandito, which is a mid-flexing option with features that are supposed to make riding feel more surfy.
And finally they have also brought in a wide version of the TM-2, for those with particularly wide feet.
