Summary
So there you have the 2020 Never Summer snowboards.
A bit of a shake up in the line, with several new boards coming in and some quality boards missing out on a 2020 model. Not too surprised about the Warlock exiting- and with the Dipstick coming in, they would have been too similar, IMO. Also not surprised about the West Split and Aura split (with the West Bound Split and Lady West Split being more suited as split boards, IMO).
But I am very surprised about he West and Aura exiting. I feel there's a bit of a whole in that all-mountain category now - with the Snowtrooper being a more playful option and the Heritage being stiffer. Something in between those two in terms of flex and something with Ripsaw Rocker would be (i.e. the West) great. And for women's all-mountain only the more playful Infinity exists.
But in saying that, the West Bound that I rode was a sick board! So, whilst I'll miss the West, they've brought in some great new boards too. I will publish my review of the West Bound, as well as the other 2020 Never Summer boards that I tested, through the year.
