Last week I wrote about the type of board Santa would ride – so I thought it was only fair to write about the board that Mrs Claus would ride!
But first first of all – Merry Christmas for tomorrow (today for someone depending where in the world you live) for those who celebrate it. This is an awesome time of the year to hang out with family and friends and appreciate what we have.
It’s also a great time of the season for snowboarding. I am hoping to get up for a couple of hours tomorrow if I can. And for those of you that don’t celebrate Christmas then this is probably the best time to go up – the mountain is likely to be pretty low on people so more space for you. Anyway I digress.
Mrs Claus’s Style
Mrs Claus may not look like an adventure seeker but once you strap a board onto those feet it awakens that adventurous spirit in her.
But she is a very social creature so she likes to be around people when she rides so she’s not really a backcountry gal. So while Santa’s off slaying the backcountry Mrs Claus likes to ride the resort.
Whilst she enjoyed riding the park in her younger years she leaves that to the elves these days. But that doesn’t stop her from hitting rollers and dropping off the odd lip here and there.
Mrs Claus’s Physical Characteristics
Mrs Claus isn’t quite as stout as her husband.
She takes pretty good care of herself in spite of all the Christmas treats that are around her!
So my estimation of Mrs Claus are:
Height: 5’ 6” (168cm)
Weight: 140lbs (63.5kg)
What Board for Mrs Claus?
These days she leaves the park to the younger generation but harking back to her park days Mrs Claus likes to throw in a few tricks here and there.
So for me she would suit an all-mountain-freestyle board.
She can ride the groomers and ride freestyle as she does. Back in the day she had one board for the park and another for the rest of the mountain but these days she only needs the one board.
My Board Recommendations for Mrs Claus
Based on her physical characteristics and riding style I would recommend the following length range:
- 148cm to 151cm
I think the following would be well suited to her:
- Never Summer Onyx 149 – great for riding all-mountain-freestyle and a great size for Mrs Claus
- Ride Hellcat 150
- GNU B-Pro C3 BTX 149
- Arbor Swoon 148
- Roxy Torah Bright 149
Thanks for Reading
I hope you found this post entertaining – I’ll get back to normal service soon.
Happy holidays and enjoy riding those slopes!
