2021 Nitro Snowboards

Below is a quick overview of the 2021 Nitro snowboards lineup.

First I will take a look at any new boards for the 2020-21 season, and any old 2019-20 boards that aren't returning with a 2021 model. 

Then I'll look at each board and put them into the categories where I see them best fitting.  

2021 Nitro Snowboards

New 2021 Nitro Snowboards

The new boards for 2020-21 are: 

  • Nitro Victoria Pro - a souped up version ofthe Victoria - the main thing that seems to set it apart is upgraded dampening 
  • Nitro Beauty - new aggressive all-mountain-freestyle board to go with the men's Beast
  • Nitro Slash - though not new by name, it's had such a major overhaul, it's a new board with an old name. The 20/21 Slash has a completely different shape, sidecut, sizings etc. There are somethings similar and they are similar kinds of boards, but there is enough different about the 20/21 Slash, that it should be called a new board. 
  • Nitro T3 - Similar in name to the T1, but a lot of differences in specs. It's stiffer, true camber (versus hybrid camber on the T1) and has more effective edge and a straighter sidecut. So beastier and more aggressive all-round vs the T1

Exiting 2020 Nitro Snowboards 

The 2020 boards that aren't returning with a 2021 model: 

  • Nitro Fury
  • Nitro Team Exposure Gullwing - they're still doing the Exposure model for the Team, but just for the Team Gullwing, by the looks. This is just a different graphic version.

Summary

So there you have the 2021 Nitro snowboards. 

There have been relatively few changes, given the size of Nitro's line. But, apart from the Victoria Pro, which is just a tweaked Victoria (naturally), the other new boards are genuinely new, rather than just being essentially name changes. In fact one of them is a new board with the same name as an old board, essentially.
