Starting off the list at #6, we have K2's Antidote snowboard.

The Antidote is a stiff, hard charging, take no prisoners board that allows you to push it to its limits without it even bending, let alone breaking.

If you like your board damp, smooth, stiff and aggressive, then you should have the Antidote squarely on your Radar.

Next up we have the GNU Forest Bailey 4x4.

The 4 x 4 is the brainchild of Forest Bailey. It's the softest flexing on this list and, with a just stiffer than medium flex, it's not super aggressive. At least not when you don't want it to be.

But the C3 camber and sidecut of this board help to make it aggressive when you do want it. But it's something that you can get a bit more casual/lazy on, so you don't have to be charging on it all the time.

This jumping powerhouse of a board is on that cuff between all-mountain and aggressive all-mountain and is super versatile. But make no mistake that while it's not the most aggressive on this list, you can throw a lot at it and it won't cower away from it.

At #4 we have Rome's Rene-Gade.

The Rene-Gade is a stiff, damp aggressive snowboard that is most at home when bombing at high speeds and carving elbows deep.

You've got to input energy into this board to be able to tame it, but when you do, it gives back that energy tenfold and is something that you can throw the kitchen sink at and it will remain calm, stable and unaffected.

Once more like the Antidote (see #6 above) and Rene-Gade (see #4 above), the Mega Merc feels like it has mellowed out a touch, making it a slightly more well rounded ride.

But don't be fooled into think that it's suddenly become an easy going ride - this thing still needs an aggressive rider to be able to get the best out of it.

And the best it can give? Well, a ride that's not only stable and fast but also explosive, poppy and dynamic.

The #2 snowboard on this list, the Burton Custom X has been a mainstay of this list - and for very good reason.

It has all the hallmarks of a good aggressive all-mountain board. It carves like a beast, bombs like a bullet train and

But on top of that, the evolution of this board has seen it develop some surprising slower speed prowess as well as a snappier feel than you'd think could come out of board this stiff and aggressive.

Returning to the top of this list, after a couple of years of absence, we have our #1 board for 2025, the Slash ATV.

I couldn't ride the ATV for a couple of years - and there were significant enough changes that I was unable to update its review or keep it eligible for this list.

But I finally got back on it and dang, did this thing not disappoint. In fact I think it's gotten even better - and it was #1 the last time I rode it.

If carving is at all in your repertoire, then the ATV should be on your list. It's not the most aggressive on this list and if you're looking for something that has no ceiling in terms of speed or high speed carving, then you're probably better off looking at #2, #4 & #6.

But if you want something that's still aggressive and can still take a lot, but with a bit of forgiveness built in AND a carving feeling that will give you un-matchable thrills, then the ATV is a board I suggest you give a shot!

AGGRESSIVE ALL-MOUNTAIN BOARD #6

Arbor Wasteland Camber Review

Board: Arbor Wasteland Camber

Flex: Medium-Stiff (7.5/10)

Rating: 85.3/100

Starting off the list at #6, we have Arbor's Wasteland Camber. It's the burliest of Arbor's mountain twins and it's the kind of board that makes you confident bombing at any speed.

Whilst it's a directional twin, it has a reference stance that's centered on effective edge, making this a great option for those that want to ride switch a lot as well.

But first and foremost, this is a hard charging board for tearing up the mountain and could take any amount of speed that I was able to throw at it, without the slightest hint of feeling unstable.

In at #5, we have the first of the Jones' offerings in this list, the Aviator 2.0.

Looking for something that's aggressive and damp, but somehow still quite snappy? Then Jones' Aviator 2.0 might be your kind of board.

It loves speed and carving the most and you can drive this board hard, but it's also great for jumps and it comes with oodles of pop too, in thanks partly to the big bow of camber it possesses.

If you can handle this board, it returns performance in spades.

AGGRESSIVE ALL-MOUNTAIN BOARD #4

Jones Ultra Mountain Twin Review

Board: Jones Ultra Mountain Twin

Flex: Stiff (7.5/10)

Rating: 85.9/100

Next up we have Jones' Ultra Mountain Twin, the stiffer, burlier big brother of the Mountain Twin.

The Ultra Mountain Twin isn't ultra-aggressive in terms of it's camber profile - there's a reasonable amount of rocker in the profile, compared to the others on this list.

But there's still no mistaking it's aggressive nature. And that aggression comes from a rather stiff core. Noticeably stiffer and more aggressive than it's little brother, the Mountain Twin.

You can really bomb the mountain on this board and it lays a mean carve. But it's also still pretty good in powder. So, if you're looking for a stiff, aggressive and light-weight ride but still want decent float in pow - the UMT might be a good bet for you.

You want power, precision and speed? Then the Custom X should be on your radar.

Burton call this the most aggressive board in their line up (and I agree!) With a stiff flex and traditional camber profile there’ll be nothing too steep, too fast or too gnarly for this bad boy.

It’s certainly not the cheapest board on the market but if you've got the budget for it, you get a hard charging, take no prisoners beast of a board.

And finally, in at #1, we have Capita's Mega Merc.

Like the Ultra Mountain Twin above, the Mega Merc is a great options for those who want decent powder performance (without going freeride and sacrificing switch). It's the equal best on this list in powder.

But where the Mega Merc really shines is when you open it out. This thing is a beast and it can bomb with the best of them - and carve trenches. If riding aggressively, bombing and carving are your mainstays, then you should definitely have the Mega Merc on your shortlist.

It's another one of those boards that you had better take control of, if you don't want to be the one taken for a ride! But when you do tame it, you get rewarded for it.

AGGRESSIVE ALL-MOUNTAIN BOARD #6

Arbor Wasteland Camber

Board: Arbor Wasteland Camber

Flex: Medium-Stiff (7.5/10)

Rating: 84.3/100

Starting off the list at #6, we have the Arbor Wasteland Camber. It's the biggest and baddest of Arbor's mountain twins and it's the kind of board where you just feel confident bombing it at any speed.

Whilst it's a directional twin, it has a reference stance that's centered on effective edge, making this a great option for those that want to ride switch a lot as well.

But mostly, this is a hard charging board for tearing up the mountain and could certainly take any amount of speed that I was able to throw at it, without the slightest hint of getting squirrelly.

AGGRESSIVE ALL-MOUNTAIN BOARD #5

Jones Ultra Mountain Twin

Board: Jones Ultra Mountain Twin

Flex: Stiff (7.5/10)

Rating: 85.4/100

The Ultra Mountain Twin isn't ultra-aggressive in terms of it's camber profile - there's reasonable amount of rocker in the profile, compared to the others on this list.

Looking for something that's aggressive and damp, but somehow still quite snappy? Then the Aviator 2.0 might be your kind of board.

You can drive this thing hard and what it loves most is speed and carving, but it's also great for jumps and the big bow of camber it possesses leads to oodles of pop.

If you can handle this board, it returns performance in spades.

AGGRESSIVE ALL-MOUNTAIN BOARD #3

Capita Mega Merc

Board: Capita Mega Merc

Flex: Medium-Stiff (8/10)

Rating: 86.0/100

Like the Ultra Mountain Twin above, the Mega Merc is a great options for those who want decent powder performance (without going freeride and sacrificing switch). It's the equal best on this list in powder.

But where the Mega Merc really shines is when you open it out. This thing is a beast and it can bomb with the best of them - and carve trenches. If riding aggressively, bombing and carving are your mainstays, then you should definitely have the Mega Merc on your shortlist.

It's another one of those boards that you had better take control of, if you don't want to be the only being taken for a ride! But when you do, you really get rewarded for it.

Slash ATV Snowboard

Board: Slash ATV

And the #1 spot goes to the Slash ATV!

This board only knows one way down the mountain – hard and fast. But should you want to do hard and fast airborne or riding switch then the ATV has you covered for that too!

But it's hard and fast without being dead/planky - it's got some real liveliness/spring to it.

It’s super responsive when you lay into it and drive it hard, it's stiff and it features a traditional camber profile with plenty of camber and plenty of pop.

This is all round just a killer deck and I had heaps of fun demoing it. It was one of those boards that I felt I didn’t have to get used to – it was awesome from the very first turn I made on it. And for something as aggressive as this, that's pretty impressive.

Price: $499

Flex: Medium (6/10)

Rating: 83.1/100

Starting off the list in #6=, we have the Nitro Team Camber.

The Team is the softest flexing on this list - but it's still something you can ride really aggressively - and a big part of that is down to the full camber profile - and also it's not that soft either.

Overall, the Team is a very well rounded board, that can really bomb when you want it to - but if you're someone who prefers more of a mid-flex to a stiffer flex, but still want a fairly aggressive ride, then the Team should be on your list.

Next up we have the Capita Supernova.

The Supernova is great at the things you really want out of an aggressive all-mountain board - speed and carving - but it's also quite versatile outside of that.

It's the best equal in terms of riding powder, from this list, It's also the second softest flexing and the lowest equal priced option on this list.

So, if you want something that's aggressive but want to still have a bit of versatility and want just a bit of a softer flex, and want to save some cash, this should definitely be on your radar.

Though there is some subtle rocker between the feet in the C3 camber profile on this board, it's barely noticeable. This is a camber dominant ride - and quite stiff too - not for the faint of heart - but if you want a board that can bomb and carve hard, and you're at an advanced level, it can take what you throw at it and will give it back in spades.

The Explorer is the lowest priced board on this list, was the lowest of the 14 aggressive all mountain boards I looked at and goes for considerably less than the average price.

It's the least aggressive - it's the kind of board that I debated whether to put in all-mountain, aggressive all-mountain or freeride. So, if you're looking for a good mix of all 3, this is a great option.

It’s also the best on this list in powder.

It’s got more rocker in the shape than the other boards in this list. So if you want something with just that bit more forgiveness – but still a more aggressive ride than your average all mountain board, then this is the one on the list for you.

Price: $599

Flex: Stiff (8/10)

Rating: 84.8/100

The second Jones offering in this list, the Ultra Mountain Twin, also has a reasonable amount of rocker in the profile, compared to the top 3 on this list.

But this time there's no mistaking that it's aggressive. And that aggression comes from a rather stiff core. Noticeably stiffer and more aggressive than it's little brother Mountain Twin.

You can really bomb the mountain on this board and it lays a mean carve. But it's also still pretty good in powder. So, if you're looking for a stiff, aggressive and light-weight ride but still want good float in pow - the UMT might be a good bet for you.

Rating: 86.0/100

Coming in at #4 is the Capita Mercury.

Like the Explorer (#6 above) the Mercury was a tough one as to whether I would classify it as an all-mountain or an aggressive-all-mountain. It’s the kind of board that you can get in and put in an aggressive carve on but then when you want to you can get more playful on it – and it’s something you can ride slow if you need to.

It’s also above average in terms of powder, compared to the rest on this list (only the Explorer was better) – so if you want something that’s also got a bit more float, but still want something aggressive, then this is again a good option.

I also found this board super light. That plus some really decent pop made this board a great one for jumps and for spins if that’s something you also want to use it for. It’s a very versatile snowboard – which is why I was tempted to put it in the all-mountain list rather then here.

GNU Billy Goat

Rating: 86.5/100

The Billy Goat (or Billy Goat C3 to be precise) is perfect for any hard charging rider.

You want a board that is going to handle on the steepest terrain? Then why not go with a goat! Fast, aggressive and balanced, this deck can handle whatever you throw at it.

Though there is some subtle rocker between the feet in the C3 camber profile on this board, it's barely noticeable. This is a camber dominant ride - and quite stiff too - not for the faint of heart - but if you want a board that can bomb and carve hard, and you're at an advanced level, it can take what you throw at it.

You want power, precision and speed? Then the Custom X should be on your radar.

Burton call this the most aggressive board in their line up (and I agree!) and with a stiff flex, directional shape and a traditional camber profile there’ll be nothing too steep or too gnarly for this bad boy.

It’s not the cheapest board on the market but you get a lot for the price in terms of tech and toughness.

And the #1 spot goes to the Slash ATV!

This board only knows one way down the mountain – hard and fast. But should you want to do hard and fast airborne or riding switch then the ATV has you covered for that too!

It’s got a directional twin shape – which is what helps to make it pretty decent at riding switch – but everything else about this board is super aggressive. It’s super responsive, stiff and features a traditional camber profile.

This is all round just a killer deck and I had heaps of fun demoing it. It was one of those boards that I felt I didn’t have to get used to – it was awesome from the very first turn I made on it.

Top Aggressive All Mountain Snowboards

How these Boards Compared

See how the top 6 compared to the averages in the stats below.

  • I looked at 14 different aggressive all-mountain boards
  • The average score was 82.5/100
  • The highest score was 92.7/100 (see #1 below)
  • The lowest score was 75.3/100
  • The average price was $577

Aggressive All-Mountain Board #6

Salomon Mans Board 2018Board: Salomon Man’s Board

Price: $549

Flex: Medium-Stiff (7/10)

Rating: 83.1/100

The Man’s Board is one of the better aggressive all-mountain options when it comes to getting air.

So if you like your jumps, but still want something that will bomb at speed and be awesome when laying down a carve, then the Man’s Board is worth looking at.

The Man’s Board has a little bit of rocker in its camber profile but the camber is the dominant part of the profile. That helps it with float in powder and makes it ever so slightly more forgiving than it would be if it were all camber.

But make no mistake, this board is definitely still an aggressive all mountain ride.

The Explorer is the lowest priced board on this list and was the lowest of the 14 aggressive all mountain boards I looked at.

So if you’re looking for this style of board but don’t want to pay a good bit less than the average price, then this is definitely worth looking at.

It’s also the best on this list in powder.

It’s got more rocker in the shape than the other boards in this list. It’s fair to say it’s also probably the least aggressive in the list – so if you want something with just that bit more forgiveness – but still a more aggressive ride than your average all mountain board, then this is the one on the list for you.
