Below is a quick overview Ride's snowboard bindings for 2021.
Ride has completely gutted their bindings collection for 2021 and totally revamped everything.
So this isn't going to look like my typical gear overviews, given that every 2020 model is gone and every 2021 model is new.
I will be looking at each binding and puting them into the categories where I see them best fitting - and discuss a little about each binding and what they're closest replacement to any 2020 models might be.
The New 2021 Ride Snowboard Bindings Collection
So with Ride completely overhauling their binding line-up they have new names for everything too. In some ways I really like the naming system - it's really easy to follow, but in other ways I'm not a big fan of it as it's a little boring.
Aluminum vs Composite
All of Ride's 2021 bindings come with either an Aluminum or a Composite chassis/heel cup. And the name of each binding tells you which has which.
Each binding in the line up have a name starting with either the letter "A" or the letter "C", depending on whether they have are aluminum or composite.
The Composite model in each flex-range is slightly cheaper than the Aluminum model
Flex
Speaking of flex, the flex of each binding is also in the name. I do like this simplicity, even if it means the names are a little boring.
For example the new Ride A-10 binding has a flex rating of 10/10 (their stiffest binding, naturally) and the A indicates that it has the Aluminum chassis.
Women's Models
There's one more letter that appears in the name and that's "L". This comes in for the women's models - e.g. CL-6, AL-6 etc.
I can only guess the L stands for "Ladies" but if anyone knows for sure, I'm happy to be corrected there.
Discs
Ride have all new discs. The discs are compatible with all the most common mounting systems on the market - 2 x 4, the Channel and 4 x 4.
Some models also come with the option of aluminum and plastic discs.
Closest Equivalents
Below I have added a "closest equivalent" to 2020 models. This isn't to say that these are anything like the 2020 counterpart. This has been a complete overhaul, so they're not that similar, but just what's roughly the most similar.

Summary
So there you have the Ride Snowboard Bindings lineup for 2021.
The naming system is warming on me, even just by the end of writing this post. Still feel it's a little boring, but I do like the simplicity and ease of categorization as well as the simplicity in the pricing.
A big move by Ride here, which has apparently been a good few years in the making. I look forward to trying out some of the new bindings, when I get the chance.
