Set amongst perhaps the most stunning views you are likely to get from a ski resort (which is saying something considering how picturesque even the most ugly ski resorts are!), Heavenly will no doubt have the power to make even the hardest of hard men gaze in awe.
But this post is about lodging not the view – and there is plenty of Heavenly Ski Resort Lodging to help you enjoy the scenery and the riding on offer.
On Mountain Options
You have choices galore when it comes to staying close to the action. In fact you can choose to stay in either California or Nevada!
South Lake Tahoe
The main base area is situated on the edge of the city of South Lake Tahoe (SLT), California. The city has a population of just over 20,000 and is well set up as a ski resort town – so there’s plenty to do and plenty of places to stay.
There are also plenty of places within walking distance or a very short drive of the main base area.
The main lodge is less than two miles from the lakes edge!
Northern Tip of SLT & South West Stateline
At the northern tip of South Lake Tahoe and just across the state line in the aptly named Stateline (Casino Area) you’ll find more lodging options. A number of lodging options in this area are located walking distance from the mountain’s gondola. So access to the slopes from here is also super easy.
North East Stateline
There are also a few options in the Northeastern part of Stateline with close access to the Boulder and Stage Coach Express lifts.
Some of the highly rated lodging options in this area are:
- The Ridge Point
- The Ridge Crest
- The Ridge Tahoe
- Kingsbury of Tahoe; and
- The Ridge View

Told you there heaps of options!
