Not much changed with the 2023 Rome snowboards lineup but they did introduce 2 new boards and there a few tweaks to returning boards, most notably the Agent.
First I will take a look at any new boards for the 2022-23 season, and any 2021-22 boards that aren't returning with a 2023 model.
Then I'll place each board into the categories where I see them fitting best and finally take a look at any changes to returning models.

Of course these are only broad categories as every board is different, but this is a rough guide.

Summary
So there you have the 2023 Rome snowboards.
In terms of their bindings and boots, I haven't gone through them in detail, but all 2022 bindings appear to be returning and nothing new. There may have been some changes.
For boots, there doesn't seem to be any new boots, but the Bodega Lace and Stomp Hybrid BOA appear to be retiring.
Out with the Old
All of Rome's 2022 snowboard lineup is returning with a 2023 model.
In with the New
Two new boards come in. The Uprise Split comes in as Rome's one and only split board.
The Artifact Pro is also new - offering a slightly stiffer, sintered base version of the Artifact.
Changes to Existing Models
Not a large amount of change from the 2022 lineup, but some tweaks, including:
- Agent: New shape, which features a slightly longer effective edge and contact length, coinciding with a slightly shorter nose and tail, along with a slightly wider width and a slightly straigher sidecut. Also gets Rome's "Double Kick" which is a two part kick up in the nose and tail.
- Ravine Select, National, Stale Crewzer, Stale Mod, Party Mod, Gang Plank and Artifact all get new "flax impact plates".
- Ravine Select and Stalefish get new "flax walls"
So relatively steady as she goes for the 2023 Rome lineup. We were privileged to get to test several Rome boards and some bindings this past winter and will release our reviews throughout 2022 (at time of writing we have published the Agent and Stale Crewzer reviews).
