Our website received some much needed TLC over the last 2-3 weeks.
Unfortunately, some comments were deleted during the process. So, if you didn’t receive a reply to a comment, please feel free to re-submit if you’re still in need of an answer and we will reply as soon as we can. Not all comments were lost and we will try to respond to as many as we can, of those that weren’t deleted, over the next couple of days.
While that was the unintended downside of the process, the upside is that the website is feeling light and rested and ready to hit the slopes….I mean….. do whatever it is that websites like to do!
But more seriously, the thing should be running more like a well oiled machine than it was before. Not to go as far as to say its yet a well oiled machine, but we have plans for a more comprehensive re-build (much like my local NHL team right now), which should see things working even better and faster. But that can wait until the summer, because the next few months are all about getting out on the snow and testing new snowboard gear.
What Changes were Made this Time?
While we didn’t make any major functional or visual upgrades to the website, we did make some fixes and subtle upgrades that should hopefully have it functioning better and running a little faster.
But mostly the things we did were to have the website functioning more reliably and making sure that it is working how it should and that we are receiving all messages. Before some comments were deleted, we were finding some comments weren’t getting through.
What’s Next?
We might tweak a couple of things over the next couple of months, but as mentioned above, our main focus from now until Mid-April is to test as many 2026-2027 snowboards, snowboard bindings and snowboard boots as we can get our hands on. So, nothing major until the off-season, but at that point we do plan to do a full re-build to have it running as well as possible.
Until then, hopefully the site is a bit smoother, faster and most importantly more reliable. And even more importantly, hope everyone’s season is next-level for the next couple of months!
