The Lib Tech Legitimizer is the kind of board that wants you to take it to the park most of the time. But still enjoys some groomer laps, looking for side-hits and buttering around.
Not the board you would enter into a race with, so if you have a need for speed, then this would work as a quiver addition, but not a one-board-quiver.
In this review, I will take a look at the Legitimizer as a freestyle snowboard.
As per tradition here at SnowboardingProfiles.com I will give the Legitimizer a score out of 100 (based on several factors) and see how it compares with other freestyle snowboards.

Who is the Legitimizer Most Suited To?
The Legitimizer is best suited to be used as a park board for someone who is intermediate or above in terms of freestyle ability. You can take it over the mountain and it's fun to find side hits and butter around on, but it's not going to be something you can do the occasional hot lap on, at least not comfortable, in my experience.
So, for most, wouldn't make a good one-board-quiver, IMO, but if you never really ride fast or in powder and predominantly ride park, then it could be. Other-wise a good compliment to a quiver with a stiffer, more stable all-mountain/all-mountain freestyle or freeride board and/or powder board.
Not for beginners, IMO and even for learning park on, it wouldn't be ideal - ideally you'd already have some freestyle skills before investing in this board.
TEST/REVIEW DetailS FOR THE Legitimizer

O.k. let’s take a more detailed look at what the Legitimizer is capable of.
Demo Info
Board: LibTech Legitimizer 2025, 154cm (253mm waist width)
Date: March 14, 2024
Powder
No powder on the day to test in, but based on feel and specs, it's not going to be the best floater when the pow gets deep.
It's saved from being completely hopeless with the early rise rocker before the contact points at the nose and tail, but not much else in its favor for powder apart from that - and that rocker is pretty subtle.
Carving
Had a nice feeling for slower speed carves, but reached it's limit, in terms of the speed and aggressiveness it could carve, pretty early up the speedometer.
Turning
Ease of Turning/Slashing: I wouldn't call it the easiest board on the planet to initiate turns on or slash out the tail on, but certainly easier than average, by my feel.
Maneuverability at slow speeds: Again, I found it more agile at slow speeds than the average board, without being lightning quick edge-to-edge.
Catchiness: There was some catch there, particularly toe side of tail, I found, and particularly at slower speeds, but definitely nothing super catchy. A little more there than my control board (Lib Tech Terrain Wrecker) but less than the Lib Tech Rad Ripper, which I also rode on the same day.
Speed
Not the best for bombing. Has a stable feel at slow to medium speeds, but once that speedometer winds up to faster velocities, it starts to get the speed wobbles.
Uneven Terrain
Crud/Chunder: I found the Legitimizer was easily bucked about in rough snow and felt a lot of chatter too. Fairly easy to make needed corrections, but not immune to the potential of catching an edge (or a nose) in a lump and treating you to the ol' piledrive!
Trees/Bumps: Felt decent enough in harder conditions, but would likely be prone to diving its nose into deeper powder, when its there.
Jumps
Really enjoyed this board for jumps. Had its limits in terms of the height of the flight, but for most sized jumps felt really good.
Pop: Great mix of ease of accessibility of pop and total pop potential.
Approach: It wasn't the most stable for approaches that require high speeds, but stable enough for most approaches and easy to make any necessary line adjustments.
Landing: Pretty solid if the landing was smooth. Not as good in messy landing. But fairly forgiving if you don't land straight or if you need to make quick maneuvers after landing.
Side-hits: Not perfect, but really good. Heaps of fun.
Switch
Transitions weren't throw-caution-to-the-wind easy, but they were fine. And riding tail first felt the same as riding nose first - though the extent to which that's true is dependent on how well you ride switch, of course.
Spins
Really fun!
It wasn't 100% easy to finish an under rotation on the snow but still fairly easy and didn't over-rotate, after landing. It had good easy pop, setup and landed switch well and felt like it swung around nice and easily (part of that would have been it being a 154, which is on the short end of my range, but it would still have had a good swing weight feel if a little longer, IMO).
Jibbing
Not ideal, but not bad. I felt happier on the jump line with this board than the jib line, but decent enough.
Butters
Nice and easy to press and also locks in well and didn't feel like I could over-flex it easily. Rotations were fine, but some risk of edge catches.

---|---|---|
Jumps | 4 | 16/20 |
Jibbing | 3.5 | 14/20 |

Speed | 2.5 | 2.5/5 |
Carving | 3 | 3/5 |
Turns | 4 | 4/5 |
TOTAL (after normalizing): | 82.6/100 |
The Legitimizer was a really fun ride when it came to jumps, spins and butters. It had its limits in terms of riding at speed, but that's not what this board was made for. Overall, a decent park board, without being anything out of this world.
