Starting off the list, at #10, we have the Armada Brae Pants.

The Brae, like everything on this list of course, give you real bang for buck when it comes to performance. The waterproofing and breathability of the fabric may not be high-end, but it's at least at a minimum of what you want. Where these pants overperform for their price, is having fully taped seams.

All the pants in this list have fully taped seams, but of the 30 pants under $200 that we looked at, only 13 in total had fully taped seams.

They are the cheapest pants on this list, and that's saying something for a list that's all about value. And for the performance specs in these pants, you really do get more than your money's worth.

They are the lowest in terms of breathability on this list - and the only pants with less than 10,000g breathability, but if you can live with that, then you can get a really decent set of pants at a super low price, especially given that they have fully taped seams.

The Gloria's waterproofing and breathability numbers are fairly modest, but they feature seams that are fully taped, which is really good for the price.

That and they feature a great functionality as snowboard pants.

The only really difference performance and functionality-wise versus the Mula above, is that the Gloria are a little cheaper than the Mula (and of course style is different and fit is likely a little different too).

The Gloria comes in short, regular and tall versions.

OK more ski boots in the picture! But again, value for money can't be denied here. They might be at the max for the price ceiling for this list, but the Legendary feature a great combo of 15mm/15k for waterproofing/breathability as well as being fully seam sealed.

The Legendary are insulated for those who like their pants nice and warm or don't like to layer underneath.

Like the pants above (see #6), the High Waisted Trouser Pants feature 15,000mm of waterproofing and 15,000g of breathability to go with their fully sealed seams, giving you value well above the price you pay for them, IMO.

Unlike #6 above, these are shell pants - great for those that want their pants to remain cooler for warm days on the hill and who prefer to layer underneath for those colder days.

The last of 4 in this list to feature insulation, the Iris are a great option for those who run cold, seldom see warm days on the mountain and/or don't want to have to layer underneath.

The Iris are also the highest rated on this list in terms of waterproofing, so if you want the most waterproofing for your buck, the Iris are definitely worth considering. But they also feature really good breathability and functionality to go along with that waterproofing.

These pants even made the main Top 10 women's snowboard pants list, which doesn't take price into account.

As per tradition I have given each pair of pants a score out of 100. This isn’t an exact science but it’s an easy way to represent their quality. Each score is broken down into categories like waterproofness, breathability etc.

When there are 2 or more pants on the same score, the pants with the lowest price gets the higher position.
