After riding the Bataleon Stereo, I came away thinking it was one of the easiest and most naturally playful boards I had ridden in a while.
It was light, super maneuverable and about as catch-free as a snowboard could realistically feel. Ollies, butters, spins, slashes and quick turns all required very little effort, which made it a particularly fun board for creative small feature freestyle riding.
Definitely not built for bombing, aggressive carving or smashing through chopped-up snow. But when I gave it a lighter touch and used it for the kind of riding it was designed for, it was a really good time.
In this review, I will take a look at the Stereo as a freestyle snowboard.
As per tradition here at SnowboardingProfiles.com I will give the Stereo a score out of 100 (based on several factors) and see how it compares with other freestyle snowboards.
