Below is a list of what I consider to be the top 3 freeride snowboard bindings for women the 2018-19 season.
The bindings in this are best for anyone who likes to ride the backcountry or the groomers but want the extra response and performance of a stiffer, snappier, more responsive binding.
Not for the beginner or the casual rider but great for more advanced riders who like their riding hard charging.

There’s not a lot to choose from in the women’s freeride category, which is why I have only made this a top 3, when ordinarily I would make a top 5.
WOMEN'S FREERIDE BINDING #3

Bindings: Burton Lexa
Price: $299
Rating score: 86.3/100
Flex: Medium (6/10)
Starting the list out at #3 are the Burton Lexas.
Super comfort, adjustability and shock absorption are just the start for the Lexa’s.
They are also the most responsive women’s bindings in Burton’s line up.
Like the GXs, the Lexa’s are a binding for the more aggressive, hard charging rider and not for more casual playful riders – though one great thing is that, due to the way the bindings flex with the board, they are actually quite easy to butter. And with the option to go zero lean in the high-back, you can definitely still ride them freestyle.
The Lexa’s come in both Re:Flex (to mount on 2 x 4 insert patterns and with the channel system) and EST (to mount on Burton boards that use the channel system) versions.

WOMEN'S FREERIDE BINDING #2

Bindings: Union Legacy
Price: $279
Rating score: 86.8/100
Flex: Medium (6 out of 10)
Coming in at #2, are Union’s Legacy bindings.
The Legacy’s are the softest flexing of the 3 bindings on this list, but they’re still certainly not soft, and they pack the responsiveness of stiffer flexing bindings.
They are also super light (probably the lightest out there!), comfortable, absorb shock really well and provide great board feel.
They would also perform really well as all-mountain bindings.

This video is for the 2018 model. I will put a 2019 model video up once I find one. The 2019 model has a new highback and a new "Forma" ankle strap.

WOMEN'S FREERIDE BINDING #1

Bindings: Flux GX
Price: $285
Rating score: 93.2/100
Flex: Medium-Stiff (7/10)
And in the #1 spot, we have the Flux GX.
A rarity in the world of women’s bindings the Flux GX is a stiff flexing binding that offers the ultimate in response and ankle support.
If you want to crank those bindings down and really charge hard and feel like those bindings are just an extension of your body – then the GX has you covered.
Not for the faint hearted or the beginner rider. If you’re an advanced level rider and you can tame these bindings, then you’ll be rewarded with oodles of performance.

This is for the 2017 model but will put up a 2019 model video once I find one – the main change from 2017 is that the 2018 & 2019 GX now has Flux’s new waffle strap in place of the honeycomb strap that was on the 2017 model. THe 2019 model also has an updated toe strap.

Buying Past Season Models
Often models don't change that much from year to year so if you can find a past season model, it will likely be close enough to the latest model but you can get it cheaper, if available and in a suitable size for you. For past year's models check out the links below to see if they still have any left.
