If you're on a tighter budget, but still want to get bindings of decent quality, then this is the list for you. Below are our Top 4 (with several alternative options) Cheap women's snowboard bindings for 2023-2024.
Because everyone needs different bindings depending on their snowboard, ability level and riding style, this list will be broken down into the following:
- Best cheap women's freestyle (mid-soft flexing with good board feel) bindings
- Best cheap women's all-mountain (medium flexing) bindings
- Best cheap women's freeride (medium-stiff flexing) bindings
- Best cheap women's beginner bindings
How Each Binding was Chosen
Each binding in the list below is chosen for their value-for-money. This isn't simply a case of choosing the cheapest in each category, but rather still good quality options, but at a decent price. Each binding does need to be cheaper than the average price for the category to be chosen though.
Under each category I will show:
- the average cost of bindings in that category;
- the cheapest binding I found in that category;
- the reasons why I chose the binding I chose; and
- Some alternatives that are also good value for money
All prices shown in USD.

Why These Bindings Were Chosen
This one is a no brainer again this year, the returning champ from last year, the Union Legacy.
The Legacy is $36 cheaper than the average price of this whole category, and are the #1 bindings in my Top 5 Women's All-Mountain bindings list, which doesn't consider price.
The average price of all the other bindings in the Top 5 was $330, a good $71 more on average vs the Legacy.
Some other notable numbers:
- The average price for this category went up by $11 compared to last year.
- The average price for this category is $59 higher than the freestyle category (see above).
- The average price for the top half (top 8) was $322, making the Legacy $63 cheaper than those that scored in the top half of this list. And the Legacy was #1 on that list!
- The Legacy was the lowest priced binding in the Top 8, despite scoring the best.

BEST CHEAP WOMEN'S FREERIDE BINDINGS
FREERIDE BINDINGS CATEGORY STATS |
# of women's freeride bindings rated: | 8
Cheapest bindings rated: | $329
Average price of freeride bindings: | $358
Average Rating Score: | 85.2/100 |
Why These Bindings Were Chosen
It might not seem like $329 is cheap for bindings, but for this category it is. When the average price is $358 and the lowest $329, the Lexa X become a really good value-for-money binding.
This list represents the stiffest flexing women's bindings and generally speaking with snowboard gear, stiffer = more pricey. So if you want your bindings stiff, you've typically got to pay for it.
The Lexa X are, however, the cheapest equal in this category, $29 cheaper than the average price and come in above the average score, making them good value-for-money for those seeking stiffer more aggressive bindings.
Some other notable numbers:
- The average price for this category went up by $16 compared to last year.
- The average price for this category is $63 higher than the all-mountain category and $122 higher than the freestyle category (see above).
- The Lexa X was the lowest priced binding, not only in the top half (top 4) but in the whole category and, naturally, the lowest priced in our top 3 women's freeride bindings list.
Alternatives
Lexa X EST ($329 | 88.4 points) - technically the better value for money than the Lexa X Re:Flex, but can only be used on boards with the channel.
BEST CHEAP WOMEN'S BEGINNER BINDINGS
BEGINNER BINDINGS CATEGORY STATS |
# of beginner bindings rated: | 23
Cheapest bindings rated: | $139
Average price of beginner bindings: | $234
Average Rating Score: | 83.0/100 |
Why These Bindings Were Chosen
Note that price is taken into account with the scores for beginner bindings (which it's not in any of the other categories), so this is somewhat skewed.
But the Rosa with the top score in the whole list - and being $55 less than the average price, still earns their spot here.
Some other notable numbers:
- The average price for this category went up by $3 compared to last year.
- Price is taken into account for the scores for beginner bindings – so this is somewhat skewed for this category.
- The average price for the top half (top 12) was $206, making the Rosa $27 cheaper than those that scored in the top half of this list. The bottom half of the list had a higher average price than the top half though - because price in this case influenced the scores.
- The Rosa was the equal 3rd cheapest in the whole list
