The Ideal Rider for the Never Summer West
The ideal rider for this board is anyone who wants a one board quiver. The West is very versatile and can take you anywhere on the mountain and ride any style.
Of course, it won’t be as good at doing specialized things as a specialized board – e.g. it won’t ride powder as well as a specialized powder board – but that same powder board might be hopeless in the park.
The West isn’t out of its depth wherever it goes – and as far as boards that are designed to do-it-all go, the West is one of the better ones at it.
Not a beginners board, but definitely from intermediate and all the way up to experts.

Note: At the time of writing there was limited availability and sizes for the 2017 model, so they may now be all sold out – but if you can find a 2017 in your size you should get a good price on it.
On the off chance you can find a 2016 model, you should get an even better price and the 2016 model was virtually the same as the 2017 model.
