>>GNU Space Case Snowboard Review
The Ideal Rider for the Space Case
If you’re after a high performance board for the park that you can also feel confident riding on the groomers, the Space Case is in that category. It’s bordering on being an all-mountain freestyle board and would perform well as that but it’s slightly more freestyle oriented.
It’s a little stiffer flexing than the average freestyle board, so it’s great for hitting those larger jumps. More leaning towards the jump line than the jib line but it’s still reasonably jib friendly.
Certainly, higher priced than your average park/freestyle board – but also has more performance – and the price tends to go up when the flex gets stiffer.
It’s also a great option for heavier riders who want to ride the park and want to do it with a shorter board.

Overall, this is a great deck for freestyle riding. It’s predominantly park oriented but you can definitely ride it as an all-mountain freestyle ride.
I loved the asymmetry and that made this board great for those heel side turns and riding switch – for jumps, big or small, it’s just about perfect and can it can hold its own on jibs and on the rest of the mountain.
That and the great edge-hold in harder conditions make this a great freestyle bordering on all-mountain freestyle deck.
