The 2019 Niche snowboards will be out soon, ready for the 2018-19 season.
Niche has only a small line-up but it gets a little bigger for 2018-19 with some new powder boards being introduced.
And their boards cover a good number of categories, so they still have some really good variety in there.
It’s hard to write anything about Niche without mention of their sustainability practices. Niche is known as one of the most environmentally friendly snowboard builders.
They manufacture their boards in the Capita Mothership (a snowboard building facility built from the ground up for clean snowboard production) and also use materials that are more sustainable, like their recycled materials for their bases, edges and sidewalls and sustainable wood cores.
Anyway, on to their 2019 line-up!
New Niche Boards for 2018-19
- Niche Ember (new women’s powder/short-wide board for the line)
- Niche Pyre (new men’s powder/short-wide board for the line – basically the same as the Ember but in a 150 and 155, whereas the Ember is a 145 and 150 – as far as I can tell the 150 of each is the same board, according to the specs anyway)

That’s It
So that’s the line up for Niche’s 2019 snowboards. A couple of new short-wide powder boards to add to their line and business as usual otherwise. They don’t have a huge line but still have a good variety of boards – and it would be odd to have a company called “Niche” snowboards with a massive line, anyway!
