2020 K2 snowboards

Below is a brief overview of all the 2020 k2 snowboards.

First let's at the new boards for the 2019-20 season, and some old 2018-19 boards that aren't coming back with a 2020 model. 

After that we'll look at a list of all the boards, ordered by the category they belong in. 

2020 K2 snowboards

New 2020 K2 Snowboards

The new boards for 2019-20 are: 

  • K2 Medium - New camber dominant, freestyle focused board
  • K2 Raygun Pop - New traditional camber version of the Raygun (the original Raygun is flat-to-rocker) 
  • K2 Cold Shoulder - New women's directional camber, freeride board
  • K2 Marauder - New splitboard with men's and women's sizing

Exiting 2019 K2 Snowboards 

The 2019 boards that aren't returning with a 2020 model: 

  • K2 Joy Driver Split
  • K2 Northern Lite - This was the women's splitboard in the 2019 line. Whilst there isn't a women's specific splitboard now - the new Marauder comes in a variety of sizes including a 147 and 151 in narrow widths - which actually offers more than the Northern Lite did - it only came in one size (152)

Of course these are only broad categories as every board is different, but this is a rough guide.

Summary

So there you have the 2020 K2 snowboards. 

Basically everything from the 2019 line-up returning (except for the Joydriver Split and Northern Lite, which have been amalgamated into the unisex sized Marauder Split) - with a couple of new entries - being the Medium, Raygun Pop, Cold Shoulder and Marauder (split). 

Whilst there aren't any new short/wide's (what K2 term "Volume Shifted"), K2 still have one of the larger collections of "Volume Shifted" boards. 

I had the privilege of testing some of K2's 2020 lineup and I'll release my reviews for those throughout the year.
